Exciting championship game in Miami between Night Shift (8-1) and Kendall Lake (7-2) for the Courtside Basketball League Championship!

Now Kendall Lakes had a quote-unquote disappointing regular season, in their minds, going 4 and 2, but they right the ship entering the playoffs. Winning 3 straight to reach the championship game.

Night Shift was 5 and 1 in the regular season and continued their strong play into and throughout the playoffs. They come into the championship game playing as good as they've played all season.

Well let's get into it. Night Shift jumped out to an 20-9 lead behind some long range bombs. It always helps your offense if you can pull from the logo like Cookie. But Kendall Lakes stays close.

Down 32-24 at the half, you have to give the coach for Kendall Lakes a lot of credit. He switched up the defense and started the second half in a 2-2-1 press. Kendall Lakes picked up their defensive intensity tremendously in the second half.

Kendall Lakes chip, chip, chips at the lead but The lead is pushed to 7 when Mike Caceres says I'll take all tree of these. And then Night Shift got hot from the Land of Curry.

But Kendall Lakes will not go away. It's 55-52 after Steven Walsh hits this 3 with 1:40 left.

But this might be the biggest play of the game. Kendall Lakes just gave up 3 on the other end to go down 6. They have the ball and can make it a one possession game with a little over a minute to go. Steven Walsh has been clutch all game. Out top with the dribble drive into the lane but alert help defense on the weak side.

Mike Caceres with the steal and their off to the races, assist to Kevin Benitez to seal the deal.
